We took a weekend trip to a super large lake in Southern Germany. It borders Switzerland and Austria. We decided to stay in a hostel instead of a more expensive hotel. I turned out to be great fun (besides sharing a bathroom). Claire had a blast riding bikes, going on a boat across the lake and attending Ferari-fest. One of the towns had about 100 Ferari' s out for our viewing pleasure. What was fantastic about some of these towns around the lake are that they have been around since the roman times and many of the old buildings were left untouched during WW2 because of the proximity to Switzerland.
